Fr Bill has been parish priest of Holy Spirit Marple since September 2017, at the same time becoming parish priest of St Bernadette's in Brinnington, Stockport. Ordained in 1981, Fr Bill's long ministry has been diverse and has served in parishes across the Shrewsbury Diocese most recently in Telford.
